Dimension Manager

Dimension Manager is used to measure the distance between walls or assets.

Create Dimension After selecting Create dimension, a record will be created with the given timestamp name.

Place dimensions in the model viewport.

Measure orthogonally height/width or diagonal sizes.

Properties

Select a Dimension record, the dialog allows you to change properties:

• Name: When naming your Dimension, give it a name that will make it easy to find.

• Active: Make path visible on viewport.

• Actions:

  • Delete: delete path

During creation of Dimension:

• Toggle ortho dimension: switch between free in all degrees of freedom or orthogonally measurement

• Cancel: abandon the current measurement

Toggle Visibility

Set global or specific visibility of dimensions on viewport.

You can also activate visibility for grouped dimensions in a folder.

How to Add Points of Interest

There are points of interest in every factory. Mark key places to stay in sync with other users of your organization.

The type of Markups allows you to decide what icon will be visible in the viewport and visually describe the key areas. Add as many as you need.
