New in Moicon: Link Snapshot to Markup, Snapshot Thumbnails and more!
After weeks of testing, we’re excited to announce that the snapshots and markups new features are available to all organisations.
When we started Moicon, we wanted to make it easy for entire factories to create great-looking digital twins that stay true to their organisation. Snapshots and Markups are an essential elements of this idea because they collect data resources, maintain a given state depending on the user, thanks to which it facilitates work in the entire factory model.
You can publish an unlimited number of snapshots to work on with your team or even use them as presentations.

Thumbnails in Snapshots...
Now are updated after each save.
You can choose between two of ways of saving progress. One in the bottom bar, second in snapshot manager after picking the right snapshot. Use the save action (floppy disk icon) to save state in a current snapshot, the one name is visible in bottom bar.
Also you can always create new one with clicking on a '+' icon.

Two ways to overwrite the snapshot
In settings you can find option to set thumbnails size.

Snapshot Manager settings
You won't delete snapshot accidently
You can lock the snapshot as Org Owner and Org Admin to protect data from being overwritten or deleted by rest of the roles.

Link Snapshot to Markup
Linking to a markup will allow you to switch between snapshots more easily.
Paste syntax to markup text field:
<text> {snapshot("<Identifier>", "load")} <text>

Pasted syntax for linking other snapshots
Locate the snapshot you want to link and copy its Identifier

Location of the Identifier of the snapshot to which the markup should link
Click on Markup and paste to syntax instead of <Identifier>. Replace <text> for desired.
For example:Show {snapshot("636b87f66b76ef00128ff883", "load")} Now

Pasting the Identifier into the syntax
Markup Manager Settings
In settings you can find options to set opacity levels:
- Enable makrup opacity: if opacity is disabled markup is always visible
- Opacity threshold (min): if the camera is closer to the minimum value, the markups are more visible
- Opacity threshold (max): if the camera is further up to the maximum value, the markups are more hidden
- Opacity fading rate: the value represents the opacity relative to the camera zoom
If camera is between min & max, then markup has transparency that is a proportional to the distance, the closer to the markup the more it's visible.

Unload/Load Asset
When loading the model and placing assets in the viewport, bounding boxes for assets will be visible. This will help you work on data more effectively and faster before it is fully loaded.

Unloaded asset group
You can exclude assets manually from viewport, leaving bounding box. You can Load/Unload them anytime.
